(This review would be kept professional because the Movie is....)
BULLS MAKE MONEY, BEARS MAKE MONEY, BUT PIGS.. JUST GET SLAUGHTERED!!- WALL STREET
A movie which lives upto its expectations and beyond!
Michael Douglas returns in his role as Gordon Gekko, but this time he is shown more of the antihero type returning as the second mentor of shia labeof or jacob moore,
The movie follows a basic storyline of deception and revenge like every other movie but is able to reflect the exact notion of Wall Street and how companies destroy one another and in the process thousands of jobs are lost!
Oliver stone was able to balance the emotional drama and the high paced wall street life of a stock broker and his life, The movie's basic funda was to depict the insider trading through which people who don't have a lot of knowledge about stock market are prompet to invest a lot into it and thus in the end taking a huge loss for their inadequate actions thus called pigs and thus slaughtered!
Story line-
Shia labeof plays a budding and ambitious stock broker who blames Bretton James (josh brolin) for the death of his mentor and is also dating the daughter of the disgraced Gorgon gekko(Michael douglas), in course of his revenge plot, Jacob(shia) approaches Gordon for help behind the back of Winnie(carey mulligan), thus sabotaging his relationship with her, but in the end he is able to pull of the impossible through her website's help and is able to restore his gordon's and winnie's life back on the track..
Overall the movie is fast paced, and thrilling! I would give it 7.7 and give of a must watch for every commerce student!
This post would be kept clear and simple with no intention of diversion from the topic...
Getting started right away I would like to ask a question to you, What according to you is a Perfect body? Is it athletic or lean or a completely toned gym body??
[I laughed when i looked at these people]
If you ask me, I would say that I am not a huge fan of a muscular body, oh cmon whenever you meet someone, you don't want them to think you are working too hard do you? also looking good in a huge body is really not possible, but when ever you go to a gym, every trainer would suggest you to go for a muscular body, this is simply because most of the trainers in the gym are themselves muscular and thrive towards that kind off structure, but is it good?? will it make you look better in public??
[Do you seriously want to look like this :/]
Again I would say NO, you don't need a muscular body to look good, look at the celebrities such as matt damon, hugh jackman, tom cruise, megan fox, shay laren, even brad pitt for instance do they have a huge body muscular body?naaaaaaaah!!! they all support simple lean and fit body and look perfectly attractive!! so acc to me Muscular Body would be last on my priority list!
The main thing is when you just GYM all you want is to get bigger and bigger biceps and shoulders and believe me you don't want people judging you whenever they see you
So now its just
Athletic VS Lean Body
Is Athletic good or is a Lean body better?
I don't support a lean body as well! Having a lean body is awesome for women but men just don't look good in a lean body without much muscle mass in them! but yes If you look at Christian Bale in The Fighter, that is what you call a perfect lean body, that kind of body structure is good, but not the best, Now you must be thinking since I have eliminated both Muscular and Lean body structure then the winner would be an athletic body, But no, the search for the perfect body doesn't end up just here!! Athletic body is something which is active, every muscle in the body works with perfect co-ordination and you have the stamina of a raging bull, But you still lack the strength, thus all three are eliminated and no one wins..
But there is another type of a body structure which i regard as the perfect body, its Athletico-muscular body, most of the athletes such as Usuain Bolt, Rafael Nadal, Virat Kohli,Suresh Raina, Tom Cruise, Akshay Kumar all of these support and have a perfect body which has both stamina and strength!!
The big question is how do you achieve that?
there are a lot of fitness prorammes on net you can't just follow all of them, most of them focus on the strength building rather than stamina and co-ordinated function of the muscles! I would suggest you to follow jeff cavalier, He's the guy I follow, you could just go to youtube and search for athleanx programme, Its perfect, The guy focusses on mostly the natural ways of exercise and muscle building. Through his way of body remodeling you can achieve the perfect body structure you have always wanted to achieve!! [<---- a perfect body]
In the end i would like to tell you the 7 basic facts of your goal towards the athletico-muscular body you always wanted-
1) You must start to move it, if you really want to loose it- Machines wont ever make you lean and healthy, you must start running and do naturals such as push ups and weight pull ups in order to loose weight, focus on cardio rather than machines.
2)You don't need to perform heavy duty body lifting- When you lift weights you definitely gain muscles but then you would be focusing towards a gym structure body, which i won't suggest to be a priority, need to focus on your naturals and weights in small amounts and a lil bit of bench press
3) Play cardio sports-
Most common sports are Soccer/Football, Rugby, cricket, Lawn tennis
and badminton oh and squash, you might be thinking that cardio sports
will just help you loose some weight.. naaah these sports help you increase
your stamina and regulate the blood flow awesomely throughout the body, so well no pimples and no hair loss.
4) Eat right-
If you exercise, play everyday and not eat right then you are just signing off your death certificate! so just eat right, you don't need to cut out on your diet, or eat high protein food or even skip meals, just eat the right amount of everything,
if you gulp up a pizza, that's okay but just remember you need to jerk off the extra calories you just took in, eat, exercise and play cardio and you'll be fine.. :)
5)don't do machines if you don't know how to do it right, this way you will
just damage you muscles, and here we don't want that, so just don't go to a heavy
weight machine and just hop on it if you don't know it
6)Never over do it, i guess i don't need to explain this
7)Start training like an athlete, and eat a lot of banana's they will help you a lot
and how to train like an athlete? just don't jump into a treadmill everyday, go out run in a field
breathe some fresh air!!
Acc to me perfect regime for a normal person would be 2 days gym and the next day cardio sports and sunday we rest ourselves!!
follow the structure and you will be awesome, by this i end this, I'm really sorry for the long post but it had to be done! :)
GOD BLESS AMERICA!! One movie i will never ever forget in my entire life! this one movie has changed my life to an extent that i don't want to go back! "Taking out the trash, One JERK at a time" the most awesomest tag line i have ever come across, and the movie definitely lives upto its tag line!!
The movie focuses on the life of Frank Murdoch (Joel Murray) who is sick of how pathetic the modern society has become, the influence of shitty reality shows, shithead singers and politically manipulated news!
The movie focuses on real life situations which we almost everyday endure! Just think for one moment when have you just sat around with someone, no family is not important, just someone you know and talked about the problems you are facing in your life, instead of talking about shithead celebrities, and tv shows! I'm pretty sure you haven't discussed any of the stuff about yourself with your close ones! have we become so self centered that we cant even talk about our lives with our family? friends?
the problem is just not about us being self centered the problem is everybody around the globe, not just America, EVERY FKING BOSY has problems with everything! Cmon if the couple is gay what the fuck is your problem buddy! Are they going to kill you? are they going to hurt your family? clean and simple answer NO bloody fking NO!! Then why do most people have problem with with that?
the whole damn world is screwed to the edge of complete madness!! Take music shows and reality shows for an instant, even in real life we laugh at weak singers and competitors its not their fault they are not good at singing, atleast they are trying and then all we do is demoralize them! and when the person on the verge of breakdown the society accepts him back due to guilt gathered in their hearts, so why do these things?? why hurt other people's feelings!!
But this doesn't end here!! Even the person who is acting dumb on television is acting dumb just cuz of some publicity!! the director Bobcat Goldthwait was able to represent just the same with such great humility and accuracy that it felt like i was watching the reality around me shoved in one big pot !Every one is screwed, If we don't start to change ourselves we might never be able to come out of shell and the words family, friends and love will remain just words!!!
the acting performance was near to epicness Joel Murray and Mackenzie Brooke Smith were able to represent their characters to near perfection! the only problem with the movie was the solution to the problem, it is definitely not going around shooting people, the only solution in reality is to make people realize about the problem, change yourself! change others!! open your heart to the world only then we can move on in a forward direction without looking back!!! :)
Overall i would rate it - 7.5 with a one time must watch tag! :D :)
watch it, enjoy it, understand it!! :)
Starting to blog comes with a need to define yourself and explain yourself on the internet in a way which you never have before, and it seems I'm not good at it. So i decided why not blog about something I'm good at, I may not be able to express myself properly but i do have the sense to explain the movies we watch, and how they affect us! some movies are Great some are Pathetic piece of shit and some are as awesome as P*rn! I'm gonna start discussing about movies so people please tell me about your movies which you would like to get rated, which you would like to understand in detail! I might just be able to help you out!
So today I was watching a movie called 500 Days Of Summer starring Joseph Gordon Levitt as Tom Hansen and Zooey Deschanel as Summer Finn! The movie is a movie about a boy who meets a girl but its not a romantic movie also it doesn't have a sad ending either, although some parts of the movie completely resemble my freaking life, well, minus the sex part! So if its not a romantic movie then what is it? The movie sort of resembles the life of every guy in this world who someday meets a girl, falls in love with her but he can never have her! The director Marc Webb was able to depict the exact phase of my life I'm going with, although I felt sympathy for Tom but I was happy that I am not alone in this world with a situation like this! The director was successful in showing that summer had never promised a full frontal relationship, she had already told Tom she was looking for something casual, but still he fell in love with her! Is it really like this? are we guys such pathetic that we still look out for a real meaningful relationship with the girl with whom we know nothing's ever gonna happen? why is it that every guy wants to be with the girl whom he knows he can't ever have? this is one question even Dean Winchester can't answer so who am i to say anything!
Getting back on the movie, the Acting- the characters played by the actors were so real that they both had fit into every situation the director had to offer, the acting being so real life made me remember my girl!(i can't have her either!! life sucks eh!)
Over all id give the movie a final rating of 7.4 with a tag of must watch for every guy on the planet!! :D You will realise, even though you can't have her, Love is all around you well minus the sex!
I'd like to end this review with this line- :)
Most days of the year are unremarkable. They begin, and they end, with
no lasting memories made in between. Most days have no impact on the
course of a life, but some days change you to the extent where you love her more than you love yourself!
Spending the day doing nothing is kind of stupid and pathetic but unlike most of the people we students choose to do nothing and lead a pathetic boring life. But its not that we don't enjoy life as a whole or not find pleasures in the little stuffs, for some its having a cigarette with some beer, for some its eating a whole lot of food, but for me its thinking about meaning of life while eating dumplings( i love em). So today I was thinking to shift my topic to the meaning of our lives and our particular response to it, i have no idea if readers will like this post but i'll take my shot with it. :)
Consider your life, look behind into your past and think about it, have you done something or even anything that would make your life worth while, for most of us its a big NO, well if you consider your marks in boards as awesome and something worth living then you cant living a more pathetic life, you've hit the rock bottom. Now getting back on the topic, why for most of us is it a NO? Are we too scared from doing something or we just think that its stupid to do so? Why don't we have the will of fire in us? why are we so scared that we don't even bother to help some poor guy in his misery?
To be frank I have no answer to that question! If you want the answer just ask your deep down sub conscious mind and you might just be able to answer that question!
My life till now has been of a loser who just eats and never gets fat, i just want to somethings that would help weak people, most of us want to do the same but we never try, why? the answer is again within all of us, we are scared for what the society might think of us, we are scared that if we start doing things for others we might never have a time left for us or our family. We all are just scared pathetic losers. I'm not saying to do things or help others now, all i am saying is help them some day, take out time, and we might as well be the Dark Knight without the cape!
Does life have a meaning? Or is it just a protocol we have to follow? the answer lies within us!
In the end I would just like say these words from Man Of Steel(It applies to everyone of us)-
You're not just anyone, One day you've got to make a choice, You have to decide what kind of person you want to grow up to be, Whoever that person is good or bad, You're gonna change the world!
:)
